(Update x3) Senator Bryant...what a moron!
Mon Jul 21, 2008 at 04:46:39 PM PDT
Perhaps you have seen the offensive photo S.C. State Senator Kevin Bryant has posted to his web site. You know, the one with a picture of Obama and a picture of Osama with the saying "the only difference is a little B.S."
What's even more shocking is that people can post directly to his site. That's right, from looking at what is posted to date, comments are not being moderatored on this politcal candidates blog! Well, well!! If I were of a mind...

Sen. Brownback, Please remove head from your A**
Thu Jun 26, 2008 at 02:32:39 PM PDT
In a conference call today, McCain surrogate-"o"-the-day Senator Sam Brownback chided Presidential frontrunner Barack Obama for failing to promote a bipartisan approach to legislation.
From TPM's report of today's media conference call:
"I think that the biggest thing really I've seen from Barack Obama is that willingness, an aggressiveness, to talk bipartisan and yet to vote and be hard left," Brownback said.
Oh really. Is this what you believe Senator Brownback? Let me ask you this. Did the McCain campaign approach you about advancing this argument in today's media call around, or did you approach the campaign?
The answer to this question is quite telling. If the McCain campaign approached Senator Brownback, then it is further evidence that the Campaign has no idea wtf they're doing? If Brownback offered to appear on McCain behalf, then he has his head clearly buried in his ass.

Update: Blue Dogs are moving to Obama
Thu Mar 27, 2008 at 11:46:30 AM PDT
With all the talk about superdelegates, I've been wondering "Where are the Blue Dogs throwing their support?" At first blush, It would seem the Blue Dogs would naturally gravitate towards Clinton, what with the propensity to move right of center and HRCs connection to the DLC.
This piece from yesterday caught my eye...Chicago congressman endorses Obama
(AP) March 26, 2008 — Chicago congressman Dan Lipinski is backing U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's presidential bid.
Lipinski had been one of the two remaining holdouts among Democratic superdelegates in Illinois' congressional delegation. He says he's endorsed Obama because of the candidate's emphasis on overcoming partisanship and uniting the country.
Lipinski's district in southwest Chicago and its southwest suburbs narrowly voted in favor of Obama over U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., in Illinois' presidential primary last month.
U.S. Rep. Rahm Emanuel of Chicago is a former White House aide to President Clinton and now the chairman of the House Democratic Conference, and he remains neutral in the presidential race.
